Description

The project was developed by Electricity Generating Public and Yanhee EGCO Holding. Yanhee Solar Power, Others, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, JERA, Diamond Generating Asia and Kyuden International are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51%, 24.82%, 12.45%, 5.87%, 2.93% and 2.93% respectively.

Sai Yai 2 Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 325,012 square meters.

Development status

The project got commissioned in November 2013.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Provincial Electricity Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 5 years, starting from 2013.

Contractors involved

Italthai Engineering and Phoenix Solar were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

REC Solar Germany was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 48,975 modules each with 245W of nameplate capacity.

SMA Solar Technology supplied 12 of its Sunny Central 800CP inverters to the project site.

EGCO Engineering and Service is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
