Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Copenhagen Energy. The company has a stake of 100%.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 3,000,000 households, to offset 6,000,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $8,000m. The project will be spread over an area of 700km².
The wind power project consists of 200 turbines, each with 15MW nameplate capacity.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2029. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2034.
