Description

The project was developed by Acciona Energia Chile and Consorcio Eolico San Gabriel. The project is currently owned by Acciona Energia Chile with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 660GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 270,000 households, offsetting 517,363t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $300m.

The Concrete towers installed at the project site are 120m high.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Aguas Chanar under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors involved
