Description

The project is developed and owned by FGP. The company has a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that is used for Baseload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Shell Philippines Exploration B.V.; Chevron Malampaya LLC ; PNOC Exploration Corporation.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Manila Electric under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

Siemens was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the gas fired power project.

Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of SGT6-4000F gas turbines.

Siemens supplied electric generator for the project.

Siemens is the O&M contractor for thermal power project.
