Description

The project was developed by Burcote Wind and ERG Power Generation. The project is currently owned by ERG Power Generation with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 236,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 55,308 households, offsetting 85,072t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 24 units of V112-3.45 MW turbines, each with 3.6MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the Sandy Knowe (Sandy Knowe-I) for a period of 20 years.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the Sandy Knowe (Sandy Knowe-II).

The wind power project consists of 75m high towers supplied by CS Wind UK.
