The project is currently owned by SDIC Jineng (Zhoushan) Gas Power Generation with a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Hydrogen.

The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.
