Description
The project is being developed by Xekong 4 Power. RATCH Group, BGrimm Power and Lao World Engineering and Construction are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60%, 20% and 20% respectively.
The project is expected to generate 980 GWh of electricity.
The hydro power project consists of 2 turbines, each with 87.5MW nameplate capacity.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2033.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand under a power purchase agreement for a period of 27 years, starting from 2033.
