Description

The project was developed by Sowi Kosovo. Enlight Renewable Energy and Others are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 40% respectively.

The project generates 320GWh electricity thereby offsetting 247,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to KOSTT under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.095kWh for a period of 11 years.

Contractors involved

NOTUS energy was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 27 units of GE-3.8-137 turbines, each with 3.8MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.
