The project was developed by Solar Electric Solutions and is currently owned by Sustainable Power Group.
SEPV Mojave West Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 180 acres.
The project generates 56,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 8,000 households, offsetting 36,287.39t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $41.221m.
The project consists of 89,000 modules.
Development status
The project got commissioned in June 2016.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Southern California Edison under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 20MW.
