Description
The project is currently owned by Bilgin Enerji Yatirim Holding.
Seyrantepe is a reservoir based project. The gross head and net head of the project are 36m and 31m respectively. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 2 in number. The project generated 165 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $171.235m.

The project construction commenced in 2005 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2008.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Limak Insaat San Ve Tic under a power purchase agreement for a period of 44 years from 2008. The contracted capacity is 52.
Contractors involved
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 25.7MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy supplied 2 electric generators for the project.
