The project was developed by Shobak Wind Energy PSC. Alcazar Energy and Hecate Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 90% and 10% respectively.
The project generates 174,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 18,000 households, offsetting 75,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
