Description
Enbridge and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.
Silver State North Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 600 acres.
The project generates 122,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 11,600 households, offsetting 42,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to NV Energy under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.138kWh for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 50MW.

First Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 800,000 modules at the site.
