Description
The project was developed by SB Energy. Mitsui, SB Energy and Kyocera are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 49%, 49% and 2% respectively.
SoftBank Izumiotsu Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 25 hectares.
The project generates 20,689MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 5,700 households. The project cost is $60.148m.
Development status
The project got commissioned in July 2014.
Contractors involved
Kyocera was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 80,220 modules at the site.
