Description

The project is developed and owned by Mitsui and Terras Energy. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.

SoftBank Tomatoh Abira Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 1,660,000 square meters.

The project generates 108,014MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 30,000 households.

Development status

The project got commissioned in December 2015.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Hokkaido Electric Power under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.324kWh for a period of 20 years.

Contractors involved

Toshiba Plant Systems & Services was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Toshiba was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 444,024 modules each with 250W of nameplate capacity.

Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems supplied 158 inverters to the project site.

Toshiba Plant Systems & Services is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
