Description

The project was developed by Terras Energy. The project is co-owned by Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance and Terras Energy, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

SoftBank Yakumo Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 132 hectares.

The project generates 10,682MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 27,967 households.

The project got commissioned in October 2020.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Hokkaido Electric Power under a power purchase agreement at the rate of $0.333kWh. The contracted capacity is 75MW.

Contractors involved

Toshiba and Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Toshiba was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 305,424 modules each with 335W of nameplate capacity.

The inverters were procured from Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems for the project.

Toshiba and Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
