The project was developed by Planta FV3 and is currently owned by Solaria Energia y Medio Ambiente.
Solaria Santiz I Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 115 hectares.
The project generates 100GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 30,500 households, offsetting 20,200t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $65.17m.
Development status
The project got commissioned in December 2019.
Contractors involved
Bester Generacion SLU was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
Yingli Green Energy Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 149,220 modules at the site.
