Description

The project is being developed by POSCO Engineering & Construction, PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali and PT Pendopo Energi Batubara. The project is currently owned by PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali with a stake of 100%.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The fuel will be procured from Tanjung Enim Coal Mine.

The project cost is expected to be around $900m.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2027.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.
