Southwick Estate Solar Farm is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 200 acres.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 14,520 households, offsetting 20,610t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project construction commenced in 2014 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in March 2015.

Contractors involved

Solarcentury Holdings was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

JA Solar Holdings was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 174,702 modules each with 275W of nameplate capacity.

The inverters were procured from ABB for the project.
