The project was developed by Stoneray Power Partners and is currently owned by EDF Renewables with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 420,500MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 47,000 households, offsetting 300,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency under a power purchase agreement for a period of 9 years, starting from 2020.

Stoneray Wind Project (Stoneray Wind Project - Phase II) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SWT-2.3-108 turbines. The phase consists of 5 turbines with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.
