Description

SunPort Delfzijl Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 30 hectares.

The project generates 27,634MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 7,500 households, offsetting 17,962t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $42.746m.

Development status

The project got commissioned in January 2017.

Eneco Energy Trade and Google are the power offtakers from the project.

Contractors involved

Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 123,000 modules each with 265W of nameplate capacity.

SMA Solar Technology supplied 843 of its Sunny Tripower 25000TL inverters to the project site.
