Description
The project was developed by Maoneng Group. John Laing Group and Maoneng Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 90.1% and 9.9% respectively.
Sunraysia Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 800 hectares.
The project generates 529GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 50,000 households, offsetting 430,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project construction commenced in 2019 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in March 2022.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to AGL Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years from 2020. The contracted capacity is 200MW.
