Sunseap Amazon Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 40 hectares.
The project is expected to generate 80,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 10,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $83.7m.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Amazon Web Services under a power purchase agreement from 2022. The offtake capacity is expected to be 62MW.
