Description
The project was developed by Kong Sun Holdings and Nippon Solar Services GK. GSSG Solar, Sonnedix and Vision Ridge Partners are currently owning the project.
Suwa Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 127 hectares.
The project generates 57,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 14,250 households. The project cost is $98.345m.
Development status
The project got commissioned in April 2018.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Chubu Electric Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
Contractors involved
JFE Plant Engineering was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
SunPower was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 143,080 modules at the site.
TMEIC supplied 22 inverters to the project site.
