Description

The project was developed by Kyocera, Tokyo Century and Yonden Engineering. Kyocera, Mitsubishi Research Institute, Tokyo Century and Yonden Engineering are currently owning the project.

Taka Kyocera Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 62 hectares.

The project generates 16,059MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 4,930 households, offsetting 7,800t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in November 2016.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to The Kansai Electric Power under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors involved

Yonden Engineering was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Kyocera was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 56,000 modules at the site.

Kyocera is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
