The project generates 30,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 1,500,000 households. The project cost is $46.411m.
Development status
The project got commissioned in January 2012.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.3kWh for a period of 25 years.
Contractors involved
Tata Power Solar Systems was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
The solar PV modules for the project were supplied by Tata Power Solar Systems and Wuxi Suntech Power.
The inverters were procured from ABB for the project.
