Description

The project is being developed by L-Vejas UAB. E Energija UAB and GE Energy Financial Services are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 79.87% and 20.13% respectively.

The project is expected to generate 235,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 78,300 households. The project cost is expected to be around $137.908m.

The project will have 141m high towers.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2020. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by July 2023.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Eesti Energia under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 68.9MW.

Contractors involved

GE Renewable Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 13 units of 5.3-158 MW turbines, each with 5.3MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 25 years.
