Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by TP Utilities.

The process of combustion will be adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Agricultural by-product and wood by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

Contractors involved

Hyflux is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Tembusu Biomass Power Plant (Tembusu Biomass Power Plant II) project. Marubeni is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Tembusu Biomass Power Plant (Tembusu Biomass Power Plant I) project.

Tembusu Biomass Power Plant (Tembusu Biomass Power Plant II) will be equipped with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 32.5MW nameplate capacity.

Sumitomo Heavy Industries is likely to be the supplier of the steam boiler for the project. The boiler that will get installed at the site is expected to have a capacity of 450TPH.
