Description
The project was developed by Shanghai Electric Power and Thar Coal Block-I Power Generation. The project is currently owned by Thar Coal Block-I Power Generation with a stake of 100%.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is lignite/sub-bituminous. In case of shortage of lignite/sub-bituminous the plant can also run on Light Fuel Oil (LFO). The fuel is procured from Thar Coal Block I.
