Description

The project was developed by WAA Solar. Madhav Infra Projects and WAA Solar are currently owning the project.

Tikar - WAA Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 65 acres.

The project generates 13,821MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 5,000 households.

The project got commissioned in December 2011.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.275kWh for a period of 25 years.

Contractors involved

Madhav Power was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

First Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 129,060 modules each with 230W of nameplate capacity.
