Description

The project was developed by Horizon Energy Group. Bank of America, BNP Paribas and EDP Renovaveis are currently owning the project.

The project generates 277,517MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 27,000 households. The project cost is $175m.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in October 2011.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to AEP Ohio under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years, starting from 2010.

Contractors involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 55 units of V90-1.8 MW turbines, each with 1.8MW nameplate capacity.
