Description

The project was developed by Verbund Innkraftwerke and Wien Energie. Verbund, EVN Naturkraft Erzeugungsgesellschaft and Wien Energie are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 74%, 13% and 13% respectively.

Toging is a run-of-river project. The gross head of the project is 30.5m. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 3 in number. Toging (Toging_Rehabilitated) underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2018-2022. The project generated 696 GWh of electricity.

Toging (Toging_Expansion) consists of 3 units of kaplan turbines.

Toging (Toging_Rehabilitated) consists of 15 units of francis turbines.

The project consists of 18 generators.
