Description
The project is developed and owned by Kyocera TCL Solar and SPCG Public. The company's ownership stake in the project stands as 67% and 33% respectively.
Tottori Yonago Mega Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 1,200,000 square meters.
The project generates 36,080MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 12,000 households. The project cost is $84.294m.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to The Chugoku Electric Power under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.327kWh for a period of 20 years.
Contractors involved
Kyocera was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 108,504 modules each with 270W of nameplate capacity.
The inverters were procured from SMA Solar Technology for the project.
