Description

The project was developed by EDF Renewables. The project is co-owned by EDF Renewables and Mitsubishi, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

Toul-Rosieres Solar Park - 1 is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 400 hectares.

The project generates 60GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 13,750 households, offsetting 4,600t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in June 2012.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to EDF Renewables under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years, starting from 2012.

Contractors involved

Clemessy, EDF Renewables and SPIE were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

First Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 550,000 modules at the site.

The inverters were procured from SMA Solar Technology for the project.

EDF Renewables is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
