The project is being developed by Bechtel, Doosan Enerbility, Gama Enerji, Geoocean and Hyundai Engineering & Construction. The project is currently owned by General Electricity Company Of Libya with a stake of 100%.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The fuel will be procured from National Oil Corporation (NOC).
