Description

The project is being developed by Tule Wind and is currently owned by Iberdrola with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 60,000 households, to offset 250,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Tule Wind Farm (Tule II) consists of 24 turbines.

The Tubular Steel structure to be installed at the Tule Wind Farm (Tule I), site are expected to be 80m high.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the Tule Wind Farm (Tule I) will be sold to Southern California Edison under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years, starting from 2017.

Contractors involved

Tule Wind Farm (Tule I) will be equipped with GE Renewable Energy 2.3 turbines. The phase consists of 57 turbines with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.

Avangrid Renewables is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project. The O&M tenure will likely be commencing from the year 2017.
