Description
The project is developed and owned by Tenaga Nasional.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 2.57 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 374.3m. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 2 in number. The penstock diameter is 3.75m. The project generated 326 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $388.826m.

Tindakan Mewah Sdn and Webuild were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the hydro power project.
Andritz Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 186MW nameplate capacity.
Andritz Hydro supplied 2 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 219 MVA.
