Valdora Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 24 hectares.
The project generates 15MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 5,000 households, offsetting 36.439t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $50.4m.
Development status
The project got commissioned in July 2017.
Contractors involved
Trina Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 58,000 modules each with 315W of nameplate capacity.
The inverters were procured from SMA Solar Technology for the project.
Downer EDI is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
