Description
The project is being developed by Opale Energies Naturelles and Velocita Energies. The project is currently owned by The Renewables Infrastructure Group with a stake of 100%.
The project is expected to generate 111,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 52,000 households.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2020. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.
Contractors involved
Envision Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 17 units of EN131-2.5 turbines, each with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.
Velocita Energies is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 25 years.
