Description

The project was developed by CEMEX and Fisterra Energy. Sempra and Others are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 99.9% and 0.1% respectively.

The project generates 414,792MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 66,880 households, offsetting 308,431t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors involved

Acciona Energia was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 42 units of AW-116/3000 turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.

Acciona Energia is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2016, for a period of 20 years.
