Description

The project was developed by Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV. Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, CKD Infraestructura Mexico and Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40.8%, 39.2% and 20% respectively.

The project generates 280GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 161,000 households, offsetting 157,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The wind power project consists of 50 turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2015 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in November 2016.

Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.
