Description

The project is developed and owned by Orsted and ScottishPower Renewables (UK). The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.

The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the project.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 340,000 households, offsetting 440,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 108 units of SWT-3.6-120 turbines, each with 3.6MW nameplate capacity.
