Description

The project was developed by Clenera and Westland Solar Farms. Boralex, Global Atlantic Financial Group and Centaurus Renewable Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50%, 32.5% and 15.5% respectively.

Westlands - Fresno Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 85 acres.

The project generates 42,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 4,000 households.

Development status

The project got commissioned in January 2014.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Pacific Gas and Electric under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years, starting from 2014.

Contractors involved

Dashiell and Swinerton Renewable Energy were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 5,000 modules each with 300W of nameplate capacity.

The inverters were procured from Advanced Energy Industries for the project.

The project is utilising horizontal single axis trackers supplied by Array Technologies.

SOLV is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
