The project was developed by Cannon Power Group, NRG Energy and Shell WindEnergy. Cannon Power Group, Shell and Terra-Gen are currently owning the project.

Contractors involved

Whitewater Hill (Whitewater Hill Phase I) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy 1.5s turbines. The phase consists of 41 turbines with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.

Whitewater Hill (Whitewater Hill Phase II) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy turbines. The phase consists of 3 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas UpWind Solutions is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2002, for a period of 5 years.
