Description

The project is being developed by BurgerWind Gaishecke, FH Beteiligungs, Land+Forst Erneuerbare Energien, Lintas, Octopus Energy Group and Renewable Energy Systems. The project is currently owned by Octopus Energy Group with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to generate 100,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 40,000 households. The project is expected to offset 60,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project will have 149m high towers.

Development status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2025.

Contractors involved

Vestas Wind Systems will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 10 units of V126-3.45MW turbines, each with 3.45MW nameplate capacity.
