Description

The project was developed by CarbonFree Technology, Connor Clark & Lunn Infrastructure and Samsung Renewable Energy. Connor Clark & Lunn Infrastructure and Samsung Renewable Energy are currently owning the project.

Windsor Solar PV Park-1 is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 260 acres.

The project generates 86,500MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 8,500 households, offsetting 81,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in 2016.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Independent Electricity System Operator under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 50MW.

Contractors involved

PCL Construction Group was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 193,000 modules at the site.

The inverters were procured from SMA Solar Technology for the project.
