Description
The project is being developed by OX2 and is currently owned by Ingka Investments with a stake of 100%.
The project is expected to generate 180GWh electricity to offset 63,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $95.655m.
The Tubular Steel structure to be installed at the project site are expected to be 125m high.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.
Contractors involved
OX2 is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.
Nordex will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 11 units of N149/5.X turbines, each with 5.7MW nameplate capacity.
Nordex is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 30 years.
