The project was developed by X-Elio FV Conejos Medanos SAPI de CV and is currently owned by China Three Gorges International with a stake of 100%.

X-ELIO Guanajuato Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 252.04 hectares.

The project generates 145,932MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 42,843 households, offsetting 94,853t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project got commissioned in October 2018.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years, starting from 2018.
