Description
The project is being developed by Yakutsk GRES 2 and is currently owned by RusHydro with a stake of 100%.
It is a Gas Turbine with Cogen power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Diesel. The fuel will be procured from Srednevilyuiskoye Gas Condensate Field.
Development status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in November 2017.

TEK Mosenergo is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Yakutsk GRES-2 (Yakutsk GRES-2 Phase I).
Yakutsk GRES-2 (Yakutsk GRES-2 Phase I) will be equipped with GE Power LM6000 gas turbines. The phase consists of 4 gas turbines with 48.37MW nameplate capacity.
Yakutsk GRES-2 (Yakutsk GRES-2 Phase II Stage I) will be equipped with GE Power LM6000 gas turbines. The phase consists of 3 gas turbines.
GE Power is expected to be the supplier electric generator for the project.
Taganrog Boiler-Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik is likely to be the supplier of steam boiler for the Yakutsk GRES-2 (Yakutsk GRES-2 Phase I).
