Yamagata Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 60 hectares.
The project generates 28,532MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 7,200 households, offsetting 13,500t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $67.5m.
Development status
The project got commissioned in September 2018.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Tohoku Electric Power under a power purchase agreement.

The project is utilising trackers supplied by Grupo Clavijo.
