Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the Yeong Yang (Yeong Yang I) will be sold to Korea Electric Power under a power purchase agreement. The power will be sold at the rate of $0.056kWh for a period of 20 years, starting from 2008. The capacity to be procured is 61.5MW.
Dongkuk S&C is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Yeong Yang (Yeong Yang I).
Yeong Yang (Yeong Yang I) will be equipped with Nordex AW-77/1500 turbines. The phase consists of 41 turbines with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
